The other day while I was driving through the neighborhood by all my favorite local community shops and restaurants, I took notice of all the wonderful and unique boutiques. I realized how important it is to support the dreams and aspirations of the people in our community. In that moment, I decided it would be wonderful to look through all the local Birmingham shops on Etsy and form a little group to showcase the unique and individual talents. I think it is important to find a common thread and to help support each other and our community. We have so many wonderful shops and talented people. Even if the weather outside your house suggest an unpleasant shopping experience, you can always have a pleasant day shopping and browsing on Etsy. I invite you to take a few moments to check out the shops I found. Maybe it will inspire you to do the same or you can just simply pass along the names of the shops that you like best!
Just click on the picture to open up the link to each shop. Like what you see, be sure to stop by and tell them that you found them here on our blog! Psst, so please pass it along!!!
Grace & Love,

Meet my newest Earthangel Amishi, Hindu for Pure
Meet my newest Earthangel, Amishi, from my series of Earthangels Around the World.
She is a Hindu bride and she represents the innocent pure love of the feminine power.
I tried to capture the precious moment of a sweet bride comtemplating her special wedding
day.
It is a mixed media painting. I used tile grout for the frame and Hindu symbols cut-out and glued to a 30 by 40 canvas.
