See My Painting In Progress (Not Finished)

I am thrilled to be working on another addition to my "Women in Hats" series. There is more to do but I got the foundation down. I kind of like the way she is appearing. I was going to have her in a "American flag" motif shirt but after I did the foundation I started liking the neutral look. The frame doesn't show up well because I took had to take the picture in doors... it is raining today, but it is a great find that my mom got at the thrift store. It looks like snake skin or a straw hat. I thought it was perfect for a cowgirl. What do you think?

Sedona Vortexes

I have to share a wonderful trip I took to Sedona Arizona in October with my best friend. It is a trip we have been wanting to take for over 10 years and the day finally came.
If you haven't been to Sedona, you definietly will want to check it out in the near future. It is rapidly becoming a metaphysical spiritual mecca. People are coming from around the world to experience the deep spiritual connection to Mother Earth. It is a special place that you just have to experience to understand.
Here is a painting I did to commemerate my captivating experience.
