I am thrilled to be working on another addition to my "Women in Hats" series. There is more to do but I got the foundation down. I kind of like the way she is appearing. I was going to have her in a "American flag" motif shirt but after I did the foundation I started liking the neutral look. The frame doesn't show up well because I took had to take the picture in doors... it is raining today, but it is a great find that my mom got at the thrift store. It looks like snake skin or a straw hat. I thought it was perfect for a cowgirl. What do you think?I am thrilled to have finally be able to paint again. I LOVE painting!!!
