Meet My Newest Angel, Kachina
This is my newest angel, Kachina, which is Hopi for spirit. She came to teach me to enjoy the spirit of nature and to remember to preserve our world so we can enjoy Mother Earth now and for future generations. Nature is our home and we must respect and take care of our home, our mother. I have learned so much from the Native Americans. I feel that we lost so much of the knowledge we could have learned from the people that lived in harmony with nature. We must return to this knowledge now more than ever. I am learning through the stillness to bring this knowledge into my spirit. I hope you enjoy her.

Spring is springing up everywhere...
Spring buds are begining to bloom and create stunning forms of gorgeous flowers. I was lucky enough this year to capture one of the trees in my neighbors yard from first bud to first bloom. It is such a wonderful thing to see. Nature is so inspiring and to watch these flowers burst open with color and light is a joy to photograph. I think I must start taking my camera to capture more of mother natures wonders when my Mom and I take our morning walks. I hope you enjoy some of my photographs from this exhibit.

My Daughter Is My Inspiration
This was the first angel painting which I did about a year ago and it is of my oldest daughter, Natalie. I always wanted to paint and she became my biggest cheerleader. Now I am painting a series of angels and the first of that series is Samantha which was previously posted. I am having so much fun learning to paint.
I will be making art necklaces like this one and selling them on Etsy. You can find this one and one of my other daughter right now on www.chicdecru.etsy.com

Featuring Artist Heather Reichard
on Etsy and I fell in love with her art.
She has a very creative and whimsical artistic voice. Heather paints using acrylics on wood, canvas and sometimes on vintage objects. As you can easily see from two of my favorite pieces, which are featured above, she gets her inspiration from antiques and vintage decor. Check out her art on Etsy, she also sells cards which would make a lovely gift item.
You can check out her blog at:

My Newest Angel Painting
Samantha, The Listening Angel
I decided to show the process I went through to create this angel.
Starting with the sketch and ending with a mixed media painting.
I learned so much through the time I spent meditating and painting.
I appreciate this journey with Samantha because I got sick in the middle of this journey
and I was reminded to go deeper into meditation to find the healing power in the stillness.
This angel came to me to teach me how to go deeper into meditation so I can hear, see and feel more deeply. She is showing me that in order to experience life on a much more intimate level I must go within and listen to the stillness. In the stillness not only will we find our inner voice, our inner child connection, we will also connect and hear the Divine call which is forever teaching us to feel our connection to the One in the All, and the All in the One. In the stillness we can truly hear God's message of love and acceptance.
Thank you, Angels!
